Reviews for "Shadow Snake"

Cool game

-1* for the tail moving, but not following the path you go. IMO, should move more if you want it to be realistic, or none at all.
-1* for the tail not moving when you move (if you don't move far enough away)
-1* for the glitch. I accidentally crashed into the boss. My guy got stuck, but didn't die. A green orb collided into me, and then I died immediately while stuck in the boss. Then the game frozen.

Dear god...

Loose and lose are not the same word. Something that is not tight is loose. You don't want to lose the green dots on your tail because then you'll die. Seeing something that dumb at the beginning of a game taints my perception of the whole thing.

The game is visually appealing, the difficulty scales well without some arbitrary movement penalty to make the game sluggish, and it's fun.

But I can't help thinking this is an accident when you make those kinds of mistakes. If you want your games to be polished do some proofreading.

Good game

Nice Difficulty. It was a kind of monotonous but short enough that it didn't become a problem. Oh and the Hardcore mode is Insanely Difficult I couldn't figure out how to doge the random slashes that move at the speed of light haha but all in all enjoyable.

Yeah.

So, it's a game about trying to get your snake to enter a portal, which one can only do by horde a sort of maze of blindly aggressive enemies to collect a given number of special portal-opening items. A sort of abstract dating sim, in short. Well, whatever it was, it was a classy concept with too much boredom involved. Perhaps "hardcore" mode would be more right for me, but that involves sitting through normal mode. Why do I have to do this? Just give me my harder difficulty from the start.

Well, whatever. As it stands it's a slightly boring and mostly average game.

On the Right Track ...

I like what you've done with this one: it has a great "zen" feel to it - did you record the music and sounds yourself? It is all tied together very well with the calming quotes and smooth animations - well done!

However, it is a little too easy to get flawless on most of these levels - but there are still a few that take a couple tries! I would like to see where you take this concept from here ... In the meantime, the battle of the tribal tramp stamps wages onwards
