Reviews for "Arrival In Hell 2"

somethings not right

i managed to do everything right up until i reached that magic cell, i used the blood on the badge, used the badge on the book, but when i tried using the book on the cell bars it says it's not working. reluctant i click the walkthrough wich says that after u use the book on the bars you can leave, now why can't I?

well.....

im stuck at the part where you have to "put the propane tank in the airvent to kill the first beast"
problem: i run my mouse over the vent and around the vent it the game lists it as the "sealed door" so unless theres another vent i cant complete the game

Good puzzle game

Its a good game but it takes some time to complete it i still havent beat the game :(
The music reminds me of NOX in the land of the dead.

Hmm...

Let me start by saying that this is better than the first one. However it still has several flaws.

First of all, looking at the items and the means to get them, I find it difficult to believe that a little more than a handful of people finished this without the walkthrough. I believe a good point and click should contain items that can be easily made using one's general knowledge. If not, there should at least be a clue in-game on how certain complex items are made. Seriously, most people would not know how to make a thermite bomb.

Second, the voice acting. The voice acting is unconvincing and does not have enough emotion. I could not feel that the guy I'm playing as really understands the situation he is in. The way he deals with the events is just as though he did those things everyday. And in the few cut scenes where he is actually in danger... His scream is just disappointing. And the saddest part is, he seems to have the best voice among all the characters in the game.

The graphics are just fine though. It suits the atmosphere. The secrets are also pretty good as several of them reveal an interesting backstory, which is fully explained in the timeline of events.

Overall, not the best, but one of the better point and clicks that appear here these days.

A good game that needs improvements

First of all, I would like to say I did like the game. However, it needed to be fixed. I think the voice syncing was pretty bad. It was usually off. The animation didn't seem to improve much, (motion wise) but the graphics did look better. I would love an Arrival In Hell 3, but if there is, there are some things that need to be improved upon.
