Reviews for "Arrival In Hell 2"

Very nice work! This wasn't necessarily my favourite type of game, but I give it a maximum vote for how well made it was. It was also funny how this reminded me of Doom 3 a bit.

Although the art was far from the best, there was a lot of detail (objects, debris, damage, etc) and you can interact with a lot of things. The game was long enough and the world was larger than what I find in most point-and-click games, with a lot of items and cutscenes and voice acting for nearly every action... the effort there is very laudable! It also has several endings and a few well hidden secrets, which take either a lot of thinking or a walkthrough to get. The idea and story are also below average, and easy to understand as you go through the world.

Also an opinion on some comments below, saying this was bad because it failed at being a good horror game: I don't think this was intended to be the most horrifying game in existence, but rather to take place in a creepy environment with a few scares here and there. This had other strong points, which I think some people totally ignored in search for the perfect horror factor.

Thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

A truly kick-ass game. The puzzles were enjoyably difficult, the graphics & music were better, and the variety of endings and hidden items was a plus, especially with the incentive to unlock the Timeline of Events. At least now there was a reason for the events of the first game as well. BRAVO!

Honestly, I was going to play this and give it a fair shot, but just the shitty recap with the overly convenient prison-map and the stupid origin of the beast...Well, it ruined my interest in the game before I even got going. One thing I can't stand is ret-conning. I mean, if at least your remake of the first had made the changes, that'd be different...but it's like you weren't even trying. Either do a recap right, or don't bother.

This game is one massive disappointment from the first one. It did make SOME improvements to the graphics and the voice acting, but what it all boils down to a mediocre-at-best horror point and click game that is not really scary. Nothing jumps out at you or give you any sense of helplessness. Sorry for being blunt, but the voice acting was still god awful and it felt like no characters are ever giving out ANY emotions. There are still some spelling errors that need to be looked at and the fire effects were painful to see. (seriously, can't you animate that?)

All in all, I HIGHLY suggest you put more effort into this series and take great care for it. The story DOES have potential, but it is GREATLY marred by everything else I just mentioned.

men its not really scary u know
