Reviews for "Anaconda"

I love the fast paced intro. The snares are a little overpowering though. Maybe turn them down a bit and eq them. I like the chiptune lead though. The track gets a bit repetitive though. I would also change the tone sometimes. For example, add low pass filters to everything at certain points and slowly elevate the cuttoff. I also did not like the transition around 1:40. I suggest adding a low pass to that. Other than that, it's a pretty good track.

Sequenced responds:

Thanks for your comment man. This track is really old! makes me cringe hard haha. my newer tracks are of better quality.

just fucking awesome

oh man, this is a mixed bag!
liking the elements of ragga and liquid in the intro, and then that big reese and spooky lead that comes out... i was thinking "hey maybe a highpass sweep would be cool here" and then you delivered haha
this next bass is fat as fuck, nice one. amens are nice and clear but could maybe use some... zazz? not necessarily slicing but some filter movement or something like the highpass treatment it gets at 3:20-ish
i feel like this is 3 shorter tracks mixed together, but i like the way you tie everything together at the end. there's lots of energy without it being cliche swire-esque shit. kick could use some more click though, imo. opinions and shit, man!
refreshing listen!

Sequenced responds:

yeh not a big fan of the kick after a few days of not listening to it.

about that high pass sweep... we might have the same brain o.O

I feel like there's too much reverb going on. It even seems to clash directly at certain times. I'm sure it was intentional, but the track is pretty dense, which to me would mean that it doesn't need much reverb because there isn't much sonic space to fill. The song itself is good though. It's got a good energy, but still somewhat chill. The drums are consistent with the genre, and I like the bass. The amount of distortion is just right.

Very interesting song: it's energetic, the sounds are very percutant and hit you like bullets, and the layers of sound keep growing and building on top of each other a massive sonic beam. It changes a lot (it has a wavy type of song proggression) and it's packed with cool sound sequences that keep the song fresh. Very good job :)

Working on the fly keeps the creative juices flowing (that's how I work as well) - that's usually why the songs created this way have an organic feel to it and radiate a powerful emotion. And this one clearly delivers :) Looking forward for more :)

Sequenced responds:

thanks bro, glad you enjoyed it. :) will make more when I get back from holiday
