Amazing

following the person's orders makes the game easier, this applies to life aswell, as the voice could be simbolizing someone in your life. They could tell you something that you might not understand now, but later down the road, you will and you'll see how much easier life is. but following their orders makes the game bland, same with life, as it makes life easier, but less colourful, if you know what i mean.
When you disobey, it'll make the game harder, in life we all know things don't always go our way and may make things harder down the road because people will see us as disobient, but doing this will make our lives more colourful.
In my opinion, your character is a cat because you can be that disobient cat thats full of colour or that "owned" cat that follows orders and doesnt have the most exciting life, but much much more bland with no colour in their lives at all.
Sorry for the wall of words.

As for Bindedwind's comment, I think the 'mind and body' issue was raising the whole idea of Spiritual world / The mind is beyond the body kind of thing.

For the mind, I would assume that as a character you prefer your body, the world around you and the idea that you are beautiful; that you long not for some greater power or experience, but for simple things and simple feelings.

For body, it shows that you have free will and do not wish to simply hand over all that is you to a 'stranger'. Whether this is because you hate the 'stranger', or whether you are intrigued by the whole affair is don to you.

Personally, when it came to 'frightened or excited', I would have chosen frightened, not because I would be scared of such a creature / man / whatever it was, but because of what it would bring with it.

Darkly beautiful.

To people who insist on better control or endings, I think you are missing the point. This game is more of a story..It is truly beautiful even though for me its set on an ugly abusive, controlling relationship whether its on father to children, or partner to partner.
The figure uses your trust to mock you, shocking realistic in life.
But once you disobey it, the figure scrambles back and begs you for forgiveness, telling you that it loved you and wants you to stay,
This is saddenly, but eye-opening to play. Very deep.
