Reviews for "I Said NO"

cute

made my day *thumbs up* =D nice job, the audo was a bit poor but somehow that added to the charm for me

Yeah, alright

Not bad.
The animations were sick, love the drawing style also.
But the captions ruined the jokes for me, they always do.

If I had one piece of advice it would be to make subtitles optional, or can them all together.

Nice job. 8 stars is a decent score from me by the way :)

LovelyKouga responds:

Oh god I would LOVE to learn how to make subs optional...my actionscript knowledge is zero, but I will totally look it up!
Thanks so much 'hun!

i'm too lazy!

It was really very pretty looking and that must be applauded. Nice drawings of human-cat hybrid things. I can't speak from a lover of human-animal combinations, but from a purely artistic stand point, they are very nicely drawn and you show real talent and ability in the artistic department.
I enjoyed watching it as it was light-hearted humour with some very nice artwork and animation. Easily very watchable, and enjoyable at that. The Family Guy cameo was a little unexpected, but not unwelcome.
The only reason the rating is not higher is three-fold. Firstly, the voice acting was all right but by no means outstanding. Especially the female character just seemed unsuited to being a voice actor, at times the voice seemed strained and un-controlled. Hopefully, as you are searching for a replacement, this problem will be ironed out in your next few animations.
The second problem is the comedy, whilst having a decent, light-hearted and broad type of humour the timing let the jokes down. Delivery seemed not punchy enough and some of the jokes suffered because of it.
The final problem was there was no real sense of a relationship between the two characters, I didn't quite understand whether they were a couple or a brother and sister combination. At times, such as the "If you take me to Disneyland I'll do something special for you" *coy look* bit, it seemed like they were a couple. At other times, when refusing a shower and appealing to the mother for help, they were siblings. If they're a couple, why is there a mother who is in a position of authority? And if they are related (which seems, purely on this animation, more likely) why are you making a joke about them having sexual relations? It's just a confused relationship on either account. Not that this really detracts from the overall work. It's just a little strange that these characters, who are very well drawn and obviously a lot of work has gone into the design and drawing of them, do not have the same attention paid to their actual personalities and how they can play off one another. At the moment it's a bit like The Adventures of Kooky and Havenofun. Nothing more.
Overall, I enjoyed it as an animation. There was not a visual aspect wrong with it. Very well drawn and animated. It also has a good premise for a light-hearted comedy. It just lacks a little something. Some tightening up on the timing to make the jokes snappier and delivered a little faster and clearing up the somewhat ambiguous relationship are really the only problems that require much attention at all. Really very good work, but a bit more rounding off and polishing on aspects other than visuals could make it even better.

Light-hearted fun and pretty visuals, but...

Made Me Laugh

Overall I enjoyed it. The audio quality was slightly...meh. The video was cute however. I don't know that it was funny on its own merits. It might have just been Herbert. Also I love catgirls, so you had an unfair advantage in that department. As for the moron below. Cat ears don't make it furry.
