Reviews for "The Enchanted Cave"

Fun but somewhat repetitive

I enjoyed playing, but I got tired a little after a while.

Specially when I got into the store again and tried to sell the $1400 ninja golden necklace that I found. It simply disappeared when I dragged it to sell area :(
I clicked "Clear" then "Exit", but it didn't reappear again...
I was placing a lot of stuff that I also found in the way in the sell area. Maybe that was the problem.

I bought at the beginning the $50 sword. It really was the best purchase I made, I finished those goblins quite fast.

The music is good, but it's also repetitive, I turned it off after a while.

The instructions page is very good though. But I didn't memorize all the magic abilities that are displayed in the game. It would be easier to remember if when i passed the mouse over them, some info appeared (like a text box).

The variety of items also amazed me. But when selling stuff, I took a long time for removing all the items from the inventory to the sell area. Maybe a multiple select button or a drag all option would improve it.

The battle system is quite cool. But sometimes I wished I could stop the fight (run from it), to avoid loosing more HP.

Overall, I enjoyed it, it was fun, but I didn't get addicted to it (which I usually do in this type of games :).

Adequate

Kept my attention for a while, but either the game's features weren't explained well enough or there are some serious problems here.

The lack of a way to replenish HP/MP makes it pointless to increase your Max HP/Max MP.
Bigger items should have a better unit rate than smaller ones. That's just a general rule.
It should be more efficient to cure yourself magically than to do it using health potions, but this isn't the case...as a matter of fact, other than being able to use minor heal ONCE, magic is 100% useless in this game, might just as well not have been implemented.
What's the resell rate in this game? 1/5? really? Not really all too much of a hindrance, but still annoying.
I'm sure there's more...at any rate, this game was executed well, but designed poorly. With some simple changes, it'd easily get a 9 or 10 out of 10.

good game but with some flaws lets sum them up...

- First of all I like the way you attack, the only thing is you can't retreat.
- Those eyes of see enemy stat are kinda dumb it only shows when you attack an enemy by then its far to late...
- I noticed that sometimes when you collect a stat increasing gem it doesn't add to your base stats (especially the AGI-gem). And I don't see the effectiveness of the INT stat, spells keep the same damage and cast.
- elemental atk/def doesn't seem to do much
- and lastly the shop: why the hell did you make 10 inprenetable spots that you could loot I almost freaked out when I saw 2 yellow chest (contains unique) and 3 stat stones. You should make those floors so that you could be able to get those stones&chests (remove gold pouches), the merchant could ask you if wish to buy them, because I don't see the point of getting 10k+ and spend them on piece of crap equipment or those very expensive potions

Pleasent little RPG

Its a good game. Good for a few hours fun.
Look forward to see more like this in the future.

It's a grind fest...

But that's the challenge. This game is a test of your will, patience, and determination. I just finished all 100 floors. When you get the right items late and stock up on large health potions, I just sped through the last 30 floors, though I worried when the Golems appeared until I got the items needed to cut their 100 damage per second rate in half to continue on all the way to the end.

If there's any critique it is the poorly implemented inventory and shop system. The design is reminiscent of early RPGs and that's bad.
