Reviews for "Guitar Vs. Piano 1.2"

Eh.

I don't see where the immense hype about these songs comes from.

It's just a bunch of collected repetitive riffs, really. The drums are generic and redundant, and there is no bassline or lower frequencies to help this song keep an interesting background rhythm. It sounds empty, or unfinished.

With two lead instruments and no backing, it just makes the song very void. But hey, whatever you did, you got the masses to enjoy it. Maybe it was the concept, or the guitar hook. I don't know. It just doesn't have a sense of life to it to me.

Goukisan responds:

Well, it's quite a simple song I'll give you that. I made the original version of it years ago. Basically the idea was to make the two instruments sound like they were 'battling' but at the same time sound good together.

I'm not sure why this is as popular as it is either, I guess there are a lot of people besides me who like this kind of music.

Too unoriginal

First off, this sounds like a song that you just pieced together from lil parts you know from Final Fantasy soundtracks. Secondly, that guitar tone is probably the worst I've ever heard, I can tell you probably take cues from Batio, who is terrible in all regards of his playing. The only thing I give props too is harmony, the beginning was beautiful, it would have been in incredible if you had a different tone on that guitar, but the clavicle sound is extremely annoying.

Not nice.

Not, nice to be honest.
1-The guitar sounds too damn fake.
2-The piano sounds too noisy.
3-Both sound too electronic.
4-The mix is nice, but the piano with drums? no.
I give you 3 for the effort. And because it's original.

I hate this so much.

Its only redeeming quality is the piano, and even that's terrible.
I don't understand why this is something that everyone loves so much.

It's mixed terribly, and it's extremely repetitive.
Turn down the reverb, mix and master it and it MIGHT sound OKAY.

But not good enough for top 30.

Lame...

I'm sorry but this is one of a heck overrated song. It's not even played with real instruments and the structure is boring as hell, even annoying later on. Good soundquality is something else as well. People saying "dis sum kick ass guitar" should really reconsider that it's not even played for real. DX

I really can't see why people are into this so much. There are other, far more better tracks in the audio portal than this...

For me, this song is really below average. But lucky for you, that's just me.
