For an arcadey type game it is really pretty easy to master, but the enemies just get faster which isn't really a fun way of making it harder. I don't feel like the game benefits in any way from being a God of War parody or from the anti-capitalism nonsense, but it's a fun little game and uh whatever seven out of ten, it's okay.

I don't think the game will be the same without the God of War theme (cause the sequence is really link to this game) and not sure the anti-capitalism texts are nonsense.

interesting experiment
To really get a good feel of if the mechanics a the same or different this needs to be longer, at least have a level leading up to the boss. Aside from that its a fun and it seems very little has changed from the previous eras, in regards to boss fights-- at least.

Reminds me of my childhood ;)
I think the difference between old and new games is, beside the better graphx, that todays games always "HAVE TO BE" in 3D and are less creative.
Be hones to yourself: in modern days not much is left of good old Commodore-creativity.
Oh, and a bit more hint what to do in this game would be cool.

Modern games are great too, and some are really creative.
kinda lame
its just Mr.Game and watch but god of war, and its level hydra over and over, not very well done. Also the title should of been Mr.Game and War or God of Watch
