Reviews for "Eukarion Tales-Episode 1"

Here's the deal man.God I wanted this to be the on

.....but it's buggy as hell. Went north for the first hidden chest and got stuck on a basket,...couldn't move at all,...now i gotta do it over and hope it doesn't happen again,...rpg's need testing,..if not then some of the best games become distant memories because it's too stupid for a player to continue playing the same thing over and over. Shouldv'e been a 5/10,...fix it man.

Nice

Good and vell made game. Bit too long dialogs.

Fun game, some interface issues

I think the reason people are having problems with "long dialogue" is not that the dialogue itself is long, but the visual cues you're using (fade out) makes it seem that way.

Fading shows time passing, and indicates the beginning or end of a new space in time, so you can fade at the start and end of a communication, but you should use cuts within the same box (even with different characters) for a particular discussion. The fade makes it feel like the discussion is over, so when the character fades up again it's frustrating. It's like they won't go away.

Also, walking to the edge of the screen and being stopped, even though there are no obstacles, is annoying. Trees are often used as borders. At times you've reversed the usual role of trees and open space, where you can often walk through tree, but get hung up on open space.

Other than that, nice graphics and quite good overall.

Hope that helps.

love the game "BUT" lot of glitch.. cant move on some other map but still a good game...

Great game BUT
annoying that you go through the portals if you get too close to them.
I ended up dying in the cathedral because I popped through when I was about to spend points from leveling up. I didn't even think I was that close to it, but I clicked and my path took me "too close" so that ended my run.

I had potions to heal up and restore mana, but the unexpected battle on the far side when my mind wasn't in combat mode did me in.

Shouldn't pop through unless you've clicked on the "door", which I didn't do.

Another issue was the active area being larger than the viewable area, so constantly being shot from off screen archers. Would have liked to have had a full screen mode.

Still not sure why I'm talking to a demon, and "trusting him" on my journey.
I certainly wouldn't have sworn an oath to it, so that created an immersion break for me.

"How do I know you're telling the truth?"
Ha ha ha, assume the demon isn't, unless it benefits from doing so, and always be waiting for the catch.

Overall though: a solid game, and deserving of 4 stars.
