Reviews for "Night of the Cursed"

Good.

BUT GOD DAMN IT, NEWGROUNDS IS BEING TAKEN OVER BY PEOPLE USING FLASH GAMES FOR MORE AND MORE PROFIT. THE BEST STUFF HAD TO BE BOUGHT WITH REAL MONEY! NOBODY WOULD LOVE THIS GAME ENOUGH TO SPEND REAL MONEY ON IT!

i like it

i like the game but you need to login to this web site i hate when they do that !!!!

Great job!

Good game, very well put together.

HOWEVER IT'S INCOMPLETE, PLEASE PUT THE WHOLE GAME ON THIS SITE, AND STOP TELLING PEOPLE TO GO TO YOU SITE FOR THE FULL GAME!

its negev and its an israeli weapon

but still nice game

Well..

I played to wave 26. It is fun but it does need some work. I will first focus on the bugs that I noticed durring gameplay.

1) Probably the most annoying bug is that occassionally large groups of zombies will walk directly through walls. With this happening it rather removes ones strategic advantage in the game. This also occasionally happened with barricades.

2) In the guns section there are a couple of guns where the lable picture switches to a different weapon on the buy screen.

3) And this may be along the same line as #1 but quite often zombies would walk across mines which had not been exploded without detonating them, and walk right past dancing teddy bears without paying any attention to them.

And now on to some game play issues.

1) The AI companion (unlike others have said) does upgrade weapons along with you, but chooses to cycle between weapons rather than sticking with one weapon (prefferably the most powerful). Her weapons do not get all of the upgrades, but she does seem to have accesss to every weapon you do as well as some of the upgrades. The issue is the cycleing. She should either always use the most powerful weapon she has access to, or use a weapon you select for her from your arsenal (best option).

2. It would also be nice to be able to place the AI, her centering in on you makes for poor strategy.

3. The zombies aren't interesting, as another had said, the game starts to drag after you get to a certain point because nothing really new is happening.

4. Some of the upgrades don't really seem useful (the speed up makes some weapons too fast). Perhaps you may consider unique upgrade sets for each weapon (or weapon set). Without a doubt the most appealing upgrades are those that are saved for people who pay real money. As another person had done I saved up 150k only to be sadly disappointed. Although I do understand your reasons for doing so, things like that really drop my interest in a game.

5. Because traps take up floor space it would be nice to be able to move or delete traps. Or even re-sell them.

6. Saves. With how the same seems to go on and on, if there is an ending I would rather be able to come back and return to my state than play through all that booring stuff over and over again.

7. Rewards. 25 gold for staying alive for 25 levels, really? Seems kind of.. low considering at that point I am pulling over 100k from each level.

I have no intention of ragging on you about your knowledge of weapons, compared to many games it does well. And I can tell some of the people who are complaining about it don't know their weapons. Silencers do exist to the extent the weapon was presented in this game, and they are easy to make. Just because the PC term is suppressed doesn't mean silencer is not also appropriate. Unlike hollywood suggests you can generally only get a few rounds off before they stop working. Often they result in a detriment to aim, and how well they work really depends on the design and the weapon they are used on. They can become silent enough for what they need to be. In england it is considered rude to murder someone with a non-silenced (or suppressed if you are a douche) weapon. An HK MP5 fires 800 rounds per minute which is roughly 13 rounds per second, and an MP5K fires 900 rounds per minute which is 15/second. Maybe they should check their facts before they publish things. Or maybe they shouldn't be douchebags and realize it is just a game.

I can tell that you put effort into the game, and I hope to see a sequal or version that is a bit more polished. I don't think difficulty is the issue so much as lack of variety, and lack of story progression in the story mode. I mean i went through 26 levels and only hit one plot point.

Keep up the good work, and I hope to see good things. 4/5 8/10
