So so close to being the best series ever...
While watching WGJ4K, I get the feeling that there is humor buried deep trying to claw its way out. Unfortunately whenever there would be a funny line, the characters proceed to smash it into the ground as if to warn against such behavior.
Micky is probably the best character of the lot. He occasionally is funny. Even though he spent this entire episode acting out of character (street thug reading a school reading list book?), he is the only reason why this series is watchable.
His two show assistants are probably the least funny part of the show. As far as I can tell, they have the exact same personality: happy retard. You could have made one of them knowledgeable about video games or you could have made one of them pissed off all the time or something else, but no. They are identical except that one of them has tits. Actually, come to think of it, they just are identical.
The thing that bothers me most is how you left the boss guy out of all episodes past the first. He makes a great foil for Micky. I was looking forward for that guy to make Micky's life miserable in various ways while giving Micky an expense budget of a small country to make internet videos. Instead, Micky is paired off with increasing bland and wimpy characters while making stale jokes probably ripped from Boing Boing.
The art is excellent. The voice acting is excellent. You are very talented.
