when you have said that you can see the previous frames, you were not kidding. I must imagine, however, you were kidding when you said 'if you look closely'. Simply due to how poorly each drawing was erased only helped with what would otherwise be a rather boring show.
every object that moved left a 'ghost trail' behind it, which actually, in my opinion, made the work better. If there was more detail (especially on the characters/objects), then the same effect would not have been achieved (I'd thinkith). As the summery suggests, these 'ghost trails' help show others the concepts behind drawn stop-motion, including how to change speed without affecting framerate, and why higher framerates can achieve more detailed results.
In the end, awesome job, and thanks for the turtle.
