Reviews for "D-Bug Defense"

Major Kudos, My Man!

You have made an execellent game! Granted there are some things that are not perfect but it was your first try, and God damnit it was one hell of a game! The laser effects were really awsome, and you should put them in your future games. I Bet this gets third place easy, if not Second Place!

Thanks for the inspiration! :)

I agree!

Great game

Towers are well balanced, enemies are constantly harder every time, even with the ton of money you get. Really addictive, found it real fun. I tried different strategies, and the best one seems to be the one with various tower types.

For your first tower defense, not bad at all...

I think you have a pretty good game so far; the graphics were nice; a little inconsistent with the menu and actual gameplay, but no biggie there. The sounds were also good, but the music was a bit bland. Not to say I'm expecting some big jungle beat or anything, but I think that part is just personal preference on my part.

For gameplay, I noticed this was a big problem in the level Jungle Trouble and possibly others: you had all your waves come out of roughly the same area, but the way some of the waves came out when they had varying speeds, it made it nearly impossible for my towers to go for the specific pest I wanted to kill. One suggestion I have is to either make a priority system so they might be able to go for a specific enemy, or even take it further and allow them to go for the nearest, furthest, newest, oldest, etc. enemy. That way the waves can still be a bit crowded, and yet it shouldn't cause as much of an issue.

As for specifically the towers, they were quite well balanced for stats, and the upgrade prices weren't too high or too low. I had only played a couple maps, but when I did play it seemed quite well, until the previous stated problem popped up a few times. I think the towers seemed slightly out of place in the game, but they were pretty well made in design overall. I just think high-tech towers like that don't really seem to fit with just bugs. Even so, I think that could just be my own personal opinion again.

In conclusion, you've got a good game going here. I hope to possibly even see you continue working on it and update it a bit too. I think it's got some good potential, you just need to tweak a few things. I hope my review has helped.

Thanks a lot mate. That was a really helpful feedback!

Good, but problems are plenty.

Namely the fact they don't target what I need to. Fix eeeet.
