I found the recurring theme of "food" to be particularly gratifying. I'm not sure exactly what it meant - was it a vicious parody of our need to buy, of our need to turn even animals and flesh into consumer products? (Which, in itself, would be clever - seeing as "consumer" originally comes from meals.) Is it a step forward on the ubiquitous cannibal myths (e.g., greek, christian, etc.) that seem to pop up everywhere? Are you saying that we have now entered an entirely new mythological era, complete with our own heroes and our own adventures?
I'm not quite sure I understood this, but I know I left it a more self-aware, more thoughtful man.
However, it is a movie that is masquerading as a game, and that is intolerable.
