It's obvious so much planning and attention to detail went into this game: amazing music, voices, backgrounds, sound effects, and characters. I can't stop playing even though I've probably failed well over 100 times. I like the in-game achievements as well. A cool story and a fun game, great job!

Good combination! The music, the voices and the design. All fit togehter for a game of action and reaction! The story is also great too, not like the 08/15 onces. This games is once of the best flash-games i´ve ever played.

A really great game!
After a couple of weeks, I've gotten all the medals, so I just played Hippolyta for the last time in the foreseeable future. The music fit perfectly with the game, the art was great, and the voice acting has no superior (that is to say it's in the top tier of voice acting on this website among not very many other). I understand if you don't care that much, but the game mechanics are what stops me from giving this game a 10/10. I survived Pursuit and Survival for over 11 minutes each and have the 3rd fastest Hardcore Story time (as of the authoring of this post), so I'm not ignorant as to how the game needs to be played.
I don't have much beef with the lag, because the game still managed to be intense, but THAT TIMER! I tried reducing lag every which way I could, playing on low graphics and in the pop-up window, but it's ridiculously slow. It takes well over 2 seconds for 1 in-game second to pass, making the Pursuit and Survival Challenges Achievements worth far less than the trouble it takes to get them. I play Guild Wars with max graphics and no lag, so my computer can't be blamed for the lag.
There was a tiny bit of unresponsiveness from the controls on occasion, but I wouldn't say it was impeding, (And that's taking in stride the fact I've lost Survival mode 6-8.5 Hippolyta minutes into it around a half-dozen times because of this). There's definitely enough time between obstacles for commands to be input, as I got both my Survival and Pursuit records while sprinting the whole time. What is clearly the hardest maneuver to perform is doing anything after blocking. It takes unnecessarily longer to recover from blocking than the other action/animation, what my friends and I call block-lock (i.e. "I got block-locked and couldn't duck the branch afterwords). If you could reduce the time it takes to recover from blocking to the amount of time it takes Hippolyta to rearm, it'll save other players hours of failed attempts and help many merely beat the game.
There are problems with some of the achievements in the game. Like I said earlier, I have the 3rd fastest Hardcore Story time as of now, as I sprinted well over 90% of the story, but I don't have the achievement for beating levels 2-5 within any of the listed times. That's 28 AP I'm missing, which made Hippolyta take an additional week for me to unlock all the medals for. Also, does dying in survival mode count towards the "failing" achievements? Because if it does, I should definately have gotten the "Fail 50 Times" achievement. To be honest, I don't remember much of anything being unlocked in Survival or Pursuit mode, besides their "Survive ___ Seconds" achievements, and the ones for dodging rider attacks, though it could just be a coincidence.
If you're still reading, here's a cookie! To summarize my review, you made a game that is great or even perfect in important areas, but I give it a 9/10 because the timer is sadistic and because block-lock is so chastising (I'd be happy if I got the aforementioned Hardcore Story achievements, but it ain't that big of a deal to me). I hope to play a spiritual or direct successor to Hippolyta in the future. Thanks for sharing this game with us!
