too damn hard

doug gets ridiculously fast after day 7 and the character takes too long to attack. Also if you run out of money to keep one keg filled your stuck w/o a quit option

Starts smooth but ends with a nasty hangover...

This game has potential, there are a bunch of things to complain about though, most notably the minigame with Doug, this so-called update that was applied does has not changed a thing, and on top of his inhuman speed (especially so for a town drunk) fights with him become pointless and irritating time-guzzlers...

Guys, when it reaches the point where it takes 10+ hits to drive him off even with upgraded weapons, it means it's TOO TOUGH...

Rework some of the mechanics of the game and get back to me..

Things that could be improved:
#1. McSweeny's attacks; to paraphrase a well-known movie: "Stop trying to hit him and HIT HIM!". Just do away with the unnecessary sissy-jump and hit the guy!

#2. Rescale the difficulty: as everyone and their grandma says about this game, it gets too difficult too quickly, scale the difficulty down by about half and this game can be really popular.

#3. Rework Doug's timing: .001 seconds shouldn't even be ON Doug's timing, give that a little work.

#4. Give the man some warning: Give a little "Doug-Alert", it dosen't have to be a big red arrow labeled "DOUG!", you can just slap on some laughter as he gets closer and closer, that should give the player enough notice to drop what cup he's filling and get to the storehouse.

That's all I've got off the top of my head, hope it helps...

7/10 stars for POTENTIAL, it's not a great game by any stretch of the term, but it COULD be...

Cool! This game made me really thirsty!

I love the hot graphics! It's also very well animated. The voices and Sfx fit right in the medieval mood. The Major problem with this game is that it needs some balancing.

After day 6-7 it's really impossible to hit Doug anymore. The only way to survive is to fill the barrel on the counter and buy only one refill. Then Doug always spawns from the same barrel and you can combo him.

I also don't understand the refilling meter. With the best quality beer, when the refilling bar reaches max, you fill lots of beer and they pay you like 60$. If you refill the minimum, they pay 500$ >_< Dude! Is it bugged or on purpose?

The music is great and some mechanics are good and fun. But after a little while the game gets rather repetitive, and Doug is abnormally fast for a "drunken bastard". Also the beer-meter should be a little bit more fair (not talking about the speed), the hitbox is quite unforgiving, landing the hand a little bit under the mark makes the costumers pay nothing at all. And on latter levels landing a little bit over the mark depletes a full keg instantaneously, even if the costumer has brought you a mug to fill (not a bucket or canteen).

3.5/5.0 for fun catchy tune.
