Reviews for "Mouse Hero."

Decent, but improvements could be made

It is a decent mouse game, and I'm surprised at how much you've disabled my mouse cheating methods.
The music is a little bit of an ear worm after a while, but does work. Your walls could be trimmed a little so that when they overlap, the corner of the intersecting wall doesn't jut out. And some of the graphics could gain a touch up, but only a slight touch up.
Otherwise it's a decent game.

Glad you liked it. The graphic related stuff is just something I've never been good at. So thats why this game is not all that pretty.

Tab cheat

one cheat glitch
place your cursor on the red button, press tab to highlight green button then enter to activate it. instant level jump
just telling the author

masterlink950 responds:

Ya, thats one of those glitches that really cant be fixed :\

Unplayable after the therapist guy comes

The level after the therapists message appears is pretty much unplayable and a pain in the ass.

masterlink950 responds:

Thats probably due to your own inability with a mouse. Sorry if it sounds blunt, but its how it is. It is made to be a challenge, rage quitting was of your own choice.

The music made it for me...

Nothing fantastic about this, but the scripting was generally decent and smooth for me and the music made it entertaining for about 10 minutes. That's a pretty good start for a game, in my book. The graphics could use serious improvement. I got frustrated after 10 minutes because there wasn't enough pretty things to look at while I was getting repeatedly burned or slice by the fans. Also after about 15 minutes, 5 minutes writing this review, the music is getting annoying. Offering some music choices would help ease that. Lastly, I found that on the levels that fill the screen (excluding the side scrolling level; I only made it to one of those) you can just put the mouse at the red button, press Tab to select the green button and press enter... Tada! You're at the end. Necessity is the mother of invention, and as you might imagine I figured this out when I got tired of the flames and the fire. Keep up the good work, and I suggest teaming up with an artist to bring your games to the top!

masterlink950 responds:

Thanks for the review. This is actually the very first game I ever made (just never published it). As for the TAB glitch, thats one of the few you just cant fix in a flash program (as far as I know of) :\

unable to play

the game glitches out on me when I try to play, when I click the "expert levels" it flashes, then goes back to the main menu, then when I try the "normal levels" it glitches and the game goes white screen and there is nothing to click.

masterlink950 responds:

Its your keyboard. press the spacebar to unstick it. I actually had this happen a few times to me, its simply your keyboard.
