Reviews for "Tekken 6: Freakshow"

And THIS is why I stopped playing after 3

Tekken USED to be cool, now it's like a bad 90s anime.

I can definitely relate

I picked up Tekken 6 a little while ago and also noticed a sizable deficiency in appealing character design.

True story - I played through that first story mission where you fight alongside those futuristic shock troopers. At the end of that mission, Lars is standing over the body of one of the dead shock troops, his mask removed. At that moment, I realized that something is terribly wrong in a game when THE DEAD GUY ON THE FLOOR looks ten times more hardcore than the laughable, poorly-designed anime clown I'm being forced to play as.

Exactly when did we, as a species, come to the conclusion that this kind of crap was somehow "cool"?

Good vid.

DaestroXII responds:

I'm waiting until they bring tekken bowl back =D

I couldn't enjoy that at all.

The comedy wasn't in any way funny. That mixed with the abominable voice acting just left a bad taste in my mouth. Animation was 'Eh' but I think you could have done better without such a strong anime influence.

DaestroXII responds:

I grew up with an anime-influence type of drawing background. Can't really do much if you didn't like the style.
Thanks for watching regardless.

damn..

I'm a big Tekken fan...so I was expecting some funny ass Tekken parody. Instead..I got something that felt like an Egoraptor piece that moved at negative 45 MPH... this might have been funnier if the dialogue, transitions and everything else was sped up.

Street Fighter?

Bah, Street Fighter is nothing. Blanka the Electric Hulk? Dhalsim the Stretch Armstrong wannabe? Please. Tekken has fighting bears and wooden men made of steel and SATAN tag-teaming with a Kangaroo!

Got an extra star from me for tossing Azazel in at the very end.
