Reviews for "Mechanical Commando 2"

Only a couple of problems.

1. Sometimes, if I click to fast while I'm fighting a crowd, I start losing sound.
2. If the satellite is going to be a buff, then you sould allow us to at least see a description of the side objectives.
3. A small glitch happens at the level 6 boss. A couple of the boss's... bullets... stop moving and stay on the screen until I touch them.
4. The boss run and complete game medals still don't work.
5. The buffs shouldn't give you a certain amount of improvement. It would be much better if the buffs improved status by a percentage.

awesome

Well the idea is not very original, but it's done much better than any similar game I've seen.
There's so much equipment and achievements and challenges to complete that so far I've probably been playing around 8 hours and I still have 7 gold stars to collect.

The background graphics are really nice, the foe's aren't quite as good looking, but still pretty decent. Music's really good too.

There's a great variety of equips, which all create different playing styles, even the various legs handle differently.
The levels are all pretty similar though, shoot stuff and dodge bullets. But since your mech keeps getting stronger, it makes them less repetitive.

Biggest complaint is that it is often not obvious how to get a gold star in a mission, sometimes I have no idea whether it's based on time, kills, damage etc. You should probably point that out since several of the missions have had me stuck for a while.

Also, your mech's hit box is too big!!
Dodging bullets is almost impossible during the more crowded battles.
I also think people with slow computers have an unfair advantage, having a pretty fast one made survival impossible.

So yeah, I'm gonna keep playing til I get all the medals, and I'm having fun apart from not knowing what to do to get ma gold stars.

Nice graphics! Love it!!

There's a couple of glitches that really bug me;

The 'boss run', and 'mission accomplished' medals don't work.

When I play on the large screen (the stretch box in the top corner)- it expands the edges of the map to show more area (which is good), but then the game gets very glitchy, with black boxes randomly appearing around the edge, and the pause menu+ boss-death explosions don't cover the whole screen.

Also the health and weapon recharge menu/box just kinda floats in the middle of the screen - instead of staying in the corner.

Also the key sometimes get stuck- but this doesn't happen too much and isn't the main problem here.

That aside- I'm very addicted to this game- the graphics are spot on; intense enough to really feel each blast, but without overdoing it and crashing my computer.

The control system works great (apart from the occasional sticky key)- but can I request that right click to fire the shoulder weapons instead- would make it a bit easier (my hands aren't THAT big).

The plot was deep and meaningful- and it's got me waiting for the 3rd part- nice work!

on the whole- 4/5, 8/10. I'm sorry- but the glitches do drag it down a little.

Very good game.

I like this game very much. It has great graphics, a nice challenge and replay value. I look forward to part 3.

Did you update the bugged medals yet?

Wow

Me too where the medals?
