The reason people compare this to jet set radio is probably the guitar line at 0:45 which is the exact same used in funky dealer. The bass synth starting at 3:33 is very similar to the bass in bokfresh. Add spliced vocals to that and you basically have some kind of funky dealer remake.
Can you deal with the funk?
I'm glad you kept your own style in the middle part especially that voice at 1:40 is killing me, good job on that.
