It's a nice concept...

The movement is rather limited though, so it's hard to aim at the houses. And it's almost impossible to pick up extra papers because you have to be right on top of them. I'd suggest making it so you can move forward and backwards instead of faster and slower and make the pick-up area around the papers a little bigger.
As for new features, you could use a health system; if you hit a certain number of obstacles in a round, your motorbike breaks down and you have to try the round again. In a similar way, a power up that lets you temporarily drive through obstacles unharmed would help in later, more difficult rounds.
The wolf 's style is good, but seems a little basic. If you'd like, I could draw up some pictures for the wolf and bike. I'm not as good an artist as certain others, but I'm alright at it.

Thanks. The movement (moving over screen vs. different speed) was one thing I tried but considered slightly better this way. The health system was something I had in mind today whilst thinking of motorcycle upgrades. :) Great suggestions, thanks! Actually the wolf with motorcycle was the hardest thing. I am just no artist... Next time I will rather use a 45 degree perspective.

Not the best paperboy based game but it's nice! And I have the highscore right now at 8805 points :P I am sure someone can beat that but the scores right now are pretty low!
