Correct me if I'm wrong, but you copied and pasted from a tutorial. If you had better graphics than I would give you a better score, but this really isn't anything new or interesting.

Might be better if you had the ball respawn above the paddle instead of allowing it to get stuck under it and drain 2 or more life away at once.
Also, there's a bug where the ball gets stuck in the wall.
Not bad for a first game though.
