Lol? You name 2 average-level games and say they are better than the revolutionary HL2? I am a Valve fan so I guess my opinion is biased, but I'm also a Bungie Marathon/Halo fan and I can say this: Halo1 was better than Halo3, Half-Life2 is better than Halo3.

Never played Fallout3, but I heard it's nothing like the Fallout Trilogy and people are just "meh" over it.

And it's DECADE, not century.

I don't want to start a fan-ism argument, so I'll just end with:
Halo3 is good, but not revolutionary, Half-Life2 was so revolutionary back in 2004 that it just rewrote game immersion through graphics and sound.

For the leaps in technology, Half-Life2 is definately game of the decade, for gameplay, it depends on your opinion.

(Plus, Peggle is just a clone of several older pinball clicking games)

I concur...

Half-Life 2 could easily be game of the decade. Kids that think Halo is better need to grow up and learn what a real game is. There is so much you can do with the Half-Life engine that has nothing to do with the game itself.
