Not really ambient, and the sound can be kinda grating at some points. What I really loved was the piano.

This was is an amazing piece. It's not repetitive in a way that's annoying, there's enough variation in it to keep listening to it over and over, but structured and repetitive enough that it works really well in background or on headphones to concentrate on something with. It's the right amount of badassness without being too distracting of the task at hand.
The the beats in the backgrounds are one of my favorites.

Interesting song. You did make it less boring. Compared to the original, this is much better.
