It has potential but......
The popups at the beginning of new levels was poorly done. They caused me to fail several times. If you're going to suddenly pause the game, at least let us use a keyboard key to unpause instead of having to move our hands away from the keyboard. It would also work better if you had a message popup at the bottom instead of pausing the game. Also, the inclusion of other things such as items that raise score or xp, purchasable upgrades, or achievements would make this much better. Otherwise, good game.
