Very fun, and kind of an interesting concept.
First off, lemme say that I am a fan of the Starcraft series. I could recognize most of the sound effects that were used here from the game, as well as the music, and even the menu layout. While this is a fun theme, after so many games, I would hope you would try something else for once.
Having said that, I definitely give thumbs up to this game. It's fun, and addictive. One thing I kind of noticed is that, at first, you are your own worst enemy. Ok, so you're given a giant arsenal of powers at your disposal, that have recharge times. What do you do when you get them? Test them out, of course. Other than Drone Swarm, I've ended up killing myself with almost every other power the first time I used it.
Nuclear Strike: Blew it up too close
Shockwave: Enemies survived being smashed against a wall and flew towards my tank before I could do anything
Dimensional Rift: Got sucked in, even being at the very left of the screen while activating it on the very right (Found out later going in Siege mode stops that)
Siege Mode + Supercharge: Enemies got too close and I fired a shell that ended up blowing myself up.
While I do find this funny, and found a way around all these, I think it would be recommended to make these powers a little less destructive. At least to yourself. I also noticed how a couple of your turrets are references to your older games, like the gravity manipulator and the homing mine.
Also, for the first few playthroughs of the game, I had assumed that knocking ernemies off your screen and having them survive meant they escaped, and that the middle icon was a helper for you in destroying the enemies, i.e.; disentigrating them. I don't know if this was in the instructions, because most of the time I prefer to figure out most of the mechanics of a game myself, but it was a little hard to tell what exactly was causing them to escape until after all the carnage and chaos going on in the game you finally manage to put 2 and 2 together.
Overall though, I had a lot of fun with this game, and once I figured out how to properly use all the weapons at my disposal, I managed to last a pretty long time. My only suggestions would be to maybe offer some unlockable content for the player to work for. I know this is probably done to death, but, at least with me, it pushes the player to keep playing until they reach whatever goal you set for them. Can't wait to see your next game, whatever it may be.
