A good start

Like you said, its still in demo form, but a good thing i would like to see is...

1. More characters
2. Less OP overdrives (me and link killed shadow in two turns)
3. A music selection (like 3 songs to choose from)
4. Shorter credits (or a fast forward button)
5. The "Play Again" button replays the credits, not sure if that was on purpose.
6. A save feature, when you get everything done, is useful, too.

Pretty nice demo dude just wish it was longer and it needs more variety of commands but other than that its cool

I like it Idea is great sprite animations are great but i would to see in full version few enhancements like :
1: this is turn based game so maybe you add some rpg style gaining experience lvl-up attacks etc. etc.
2: add some tactical moves (for now u have done 2 attacks type strong & stronger) to characters for example some attack can stun enemy some other heal ur npc`s or enable . Sonic is very fast character so he can have few very powerful or stunnable moves
3:add new bar which filling when taking damage liek in some fighting games when full it enable character to do uber attack for sonic & shadow uber attack can b temporary change form for few turns into golden sonic & golden shadow new form can enable them to use a new move pool (you can move here overdrive attack)
4.add defend skill what enable to reduce received damage and gives percentage chance to avoid enemy`s bonus attack effect (stun etc.)

well in a maner of facts link is to much to imba like omg i hit u and i kill u with a normal atk¿? wtf and sonic atk is just to weak

hmmm...true, realised that, soon will make shadow have around 10,000hp, and also add more magic attacks, ether special items and healing moves, sorry XD

The graphics, very retro, i love it, the animations are done great, and the attacks, are just the kinda thing i like to see, exaggerated and OTT.

just so not to harp on like others about the simplicity of the game, ill offer a few other perspectives

Link's attack, his normal attack is way too epic to simply be a normal attack.
if you have 2 controllable players, make the opponent harder. it should be a challenge to beat him

Get rid of the combo message, its just confusing, unless you plan to implement something along the lines of characters attacking together, or one after the other to create a 'combo' saying combo just cause the normal attack hits more than once is pretty redundant.

other than that, congratulations on your first flash, i look forward to seeing a full and improved version of this
