The weapons blow. I'm sorry. I kill 50 people to get a machine gun and it does the same damage as a stick. That was the games deciding factor to me. This has the ability to be a good game, it just needs A LOT of work.
It's got no heart
It worked. It was clean and functional, and looked about as good as alien hominid. The problems are pretty numerous. Here is a list: jumping is useless without an aerial attack, there was no blocking or anything to vary the combat, getting turned around when you're whacked is annoying, I kept asking myself why I couldn't pick up the enemies' weapons, the enemies had no variation, between each other or between them and the protagonist, the music got annoying after awhile, and the weapons were few and unoriginal. Seriously, games this repetitive can still be really fun if you make the things you can buy be fun and varied. At the very least give us something that the bad guys don't have (I mean, I hope they don't get rocket launchers, but I didn't play that far into it because I got bored).
