It's a nice try.
Although it has it's glitches, it is a great try for a flash submission. Perhaps if you made the map larger and fixed some glitches, it could be a great game! I just sat in one place, and the meteor did not even attempt to follow me. I've racked up over 1000 points. The hitbox is another issue. I will be completely away from the bad meteor (Flame and all), and I just randomly died.
It has it's kinks here and there, but with a little more work, some new ideas, and less glitches, it could be a great game.
Keep up the work, and try to improve!
