2. in the classics, hte snake grows by 1 or 2 parts, adn starts with 3-5.

Needs a better background. Any ideas?
On the second he is at one to make it much simpler in the beginning.
And i made it so grows by 5 i think? so its more challenging.

Well...
It functions for what it is. However, It doesn't really bring anything to the well overdone snake game . In fact, that you add on 5 units to the snake each time just makes a game that isalready short even shorter. This game has been so overdone you need to do something more with it. This didn't have sound, and the graphics were just blocks of color. Keep trying, at the very least add some sounds, a menu, and a score table.
I love the classic snake game...
...this, however, I'm not as crazy about. Perhaps you could tone down thespeeabi so that high scores can reach the triple digits. And yes, sound would be good too.
Try to add something unique.
From what I've seen the action script is solid. I believe it would be beneficial to also focus on the graphics side as well. Update the game as something more then gradient blocks, add music and sounds as well. Try to add something that will make people want to play your version of snake then any other. Perhaps some pickups that could help or hinder the player. The sky is the limit at what you can do to improve this game.
