good animation

The animation was very good as you were able to capture even how the charaters moved for the most part, some of the colors might be softer in the actual Peanuts but that wouldn't be worth doing in flash I would imagine. The voices didn't fit in at all with the characters but I wouldn't say the voice acting was bad just maybe the casting. I think giving Charlie Brown a katana didn't fit well, to animate a katana like that you had to use different styles of coloring and detailing that looked weird and out of place, and also there's the point that the katana is very short since Charlie Brown is able to use it and he is only a few feet tall.

In Xemkin's defense,

no flash does not = no right to critique anyone's work. The too are entirely unrelated. So please do not tell somebody that they can not offer up their own opinion of a work because they have never produced that kind of work themselves.
If what you say is true, Darksaint787, then you have never had the right to criticize any film you've seen or any novel you've read.

Aside from that, I must agree that the story was incredibly choppy and poorly told, tho it had immense potential. Had the segments simply been brought together better and made a cohesive series of events, this would have been a truly amazing animation.
The dream sequence, in particular, was brilliant and inspired: playing off so many other psychological lapse scenes while adding its own charlie twist. It was truly well done, and made the movie easily worth 9 stars on its own. The weak narrative however, brought this story down overall.

All in all, this work is extremely creative, well animated, decently voiced, and brilliant in its parody, but poorly told and too loosely pieced together.

Charlie Brown all grown up

Lucy sounds just like my old elementary school classmate. She kept humilating everyone and talking big until we got REVENGE! We hurled a piece of plastic at her and she ended up with a nosebleed :)

nice cynical, but definitely realistic.
