I didn't see it coming. :)
I agree with alot of what Prokrastin8 said below.
I just got back form the memorial in my city dedicated to those we lost and I was quite pleased to see this. :)
Story Content: 10: This is obviously Satire and the purpose of Satire in the past has often been to poke fun at things, usually those things that seem ridiculous. Mark Twain's story of Huckleberry Finn is Satire poking fun at the attitudes in the south during his time. This goes in a similiar vain. The one part that really, really got close to the vein was the shower scene. I really don't know what to say about that scene, but I can say it made me feel uncomfortable in expectation.
I began to think...omg, will he really show that. I have to admit, that there was relief and oddly dissappointment at the result. I know that sounds odd but I'll explain. I was relieved by the outcome, but at the same time, I expected the opposite outcome. With the outcome you gave us, it almost seems like there is no point in that scene. I happen to be very self-reflexive and I would have to say I congradulate you on making me feel the way you did on that scene. In that sense, I have something real I can apply from your satirical bit- Sympathy.
While I agree with alot of Prokrastin8's points, I judge flashes based on the average of a score based on the work. I can't help but give a 10 even though I feel there is a discrepancy with the shower scene and the rest of the movie, but at the same time if you did not present it as you did, it never would have come off as it did. I somewhat agree with prokrastin8 on the title but I think the description you wrote makes up for that so I think leave it as is.
Art: 9 For those of you who are expecting art to be like the Brakenwood, thats not what this is like. Art I find as one of those things that is difficult to evaluate because it can be very subjective. Especially if you believe in the Andy Warhol toilet idea. I'm giving an 9. I think the art was appropriate. Whether you decided to be more detailed of not or choose to refine your work is up to you. I'd say that the style suits the satirical nature.
Audio: 10
Appropriate and I have to admit the laugh in the shower scene was somehow...right.
Total score of 10
