pretty good for a beta, i can't wait for the real game to come out, I just a suggestions.
First thing is that I would put a reverse in so that the player can correct mistakes easier, also crashing and going back to the game over screen gets annoying, I would suggest just having you fade out and respawn at the beginning but without going to game over screen. keep up the good work

If this is your 720th beta then you fail, Lol. Remined me of the first GTA games though.
Rough Edges
The rotation point is about 1/2 a cm of and so is the collsion detection, resulting in near misses cause you to lose
suggestions
set you rotation point of the car back a bit... to roughly where the front wheels would be, it is too counter-intiutive right now. Also, control is a bit touchy... I'd set the distance travelled per key press down a bit. Turn screen wrapping OFF... it would be better to simply crash when you hit the edge of the screen.
