It's enjoyable, but...

there needs to be a way to build them up before sending them into some of these fights. Definitely more customization with -how- they're built.
I don't see the pc's attaining any crits so far... maybe I haven't seen it yet? I've surely seen enemies crit the crap out of my guys, effectively descimating my party.
I know it takes a lot of effort to make games in the first place; however, I think one final revision might be in order to push some replay value here. As it is, I'm not sure if I want to keep slashing away at the same fight for twenty tries straight.
There could be items/abilities to regenerate the MP of a character too. Getting my ass handed to me on a silver platter by a green puma repeatedly because I keep running out of MP? @#$$@#^!

I -DO- like this game! But there's room for improvement. Maybe I'm stuck on FO3 and "standard" RPG's.

P.S.: So I've only played for 1.5 hours... I don't like having to immediately resort to outside guides before I've even made my first attack... I'll read it in the morning, after work.

Things to note: Like what punkarson said earlier. Don't make it follow the storyline like that. Should have places where the characters can just train and fight.

A game with a lot of effort put into it

I have to say...this game kept me stuck to the computer the whole weekend! This is a really good game filled with creative artwork and a funny, yet childish, dialogue. I really liked the battle system; it was a nice take on the classic turn-based battle system you see in RPG's but still original.

But damn! I finally beat that Cerberus and BLAM! surprise surprise eh? I am looking forward to the sequel, which i imagine will have a lot to do with a certain Disney film.

*** A wonderful game ***

This is by far one of the best flash games out there... if not the best. Everything about this game is beautiful... from the eye soothing graphics and the slick interface to the challenging gameplay with a very interesting storyline. Every aspect of the game is so fresh and attractive. It was quite enjoyable to play. I love how the game actually have a real interesting story behind it. Its fun to see the story unfold as you play. It adds a new experience to the game instead of simply just tactics, and the in-depth character development doesnt hurt. I especially love visual aspect of the game. There is alot of gorgeous details thru out the game like the perk screen, the environment, when a tarot is summoned( love it when the high priestess is summoned), and tons more.
I am surprised that this game doesnt get a full 10. There is even an extentive strategy guide out there and some people are still complaining about the difficulty of the game. So far i have not found any bug except when i got the Death tarot, the music is gone, dont know if thats a problem on my end.
I have played the demo for this game some time ago, really glad to see the game is finally out and i see that you have taken out how we could vary the power of a skill when casting, i thought that was helpful.
Anyway, i really had alot of fun playing the game, and i'm sure many of us would love to see how the story progresses in the sequel. I cant wait... and Thank You for making such a great game.

Great game

This game was great. really time consuming and excellent. One problem though, Occasionally when skipping the moving phase my charecter would just die. It caused several losses and some grief. But besides that this game is really well built. Keep up the work, and maybe next time add a little more customization and depth.
