Reviews for "The Final Legion"

Great game, could use improvement

It feels like gunstar heroes without rapid fire...

Pros:
Controls worked well
Nice upgrade system
Nice enemy variety
Cool concept

Cons:
Too much clicking!
Game was very short
Very easy game
Not being able to go back after advancing a frame got annoying at times

I had alot of fun with it though, while it lasted.

Looked good but then the 1st levels were boring

The idea of having a team to command looked like it was going to be a lot of fun. However the first few levels are really not much fun because it's a clickfest having to kill every single enemy. If I make it to the end of the level there's no reason why I should have to go back to kill every single guy.

The game should start out with at least one member in your team such as the bridge builder. Then you should be able to finish a level by getting to the end, whether all the bad guys are dead or not.

Good graphics!

Awesome! Metal Slug Revamped!

Awesome metal slug action. Just one hint: no one likes to mouse click like mad. The first thing I did when I started playing was a mouse macro for turbo clicking. It gets much more interesting when you can focus in the action rather than in the clicking.

Serious Problems.

For one, the game lags terribly. Your character is rarely looking the way he should be.

For two, the game glitchest a lot. Often I'm just trying to get it to work properly.

For three, it's way too easy! I can beat pretty much any boss or enemy by spamming bullets.

For four, all the crap that they teach you about in the beginning is partially useless since you have to unlock nearly every ability in the game other than walking, jumping, and shooting one bullet at a time. Gee, how convenient.

For five, it's far too short. I beat this in twenty or so minutes, which is rather sad.

For all I said, it's still okay, but it could have been a LOT better.

Too many gimmicks, too little substance.

This game is clearly relying on the party member system to make it stand out from other shooters where it's art and gameplay don't. That might have even been a decent idea, if the party members were powerful enough to make a difference, but as they are they contribute almost nothing to the gameplay. A greater variety of enemies would have been nice, as would more bosses that can actually defend themselves like that giant red robot one, instead of so many big boring steel doors swarming with a bunch of generic enemies.
