Reviews for "Gretel and Hansel"

just what i wanted

i was always thinking of a game where its point and click and you get to move around freely, and use the mouse, thank you for this,it made my day

wow

surely youll add another part yess??.. Love the whole concept of turning something so innocent into something rather evil

A new bar for adventure games

You spent an amazing amount of time on this and it shows through as a true labor of love and innovation. This is the first game where I was compelled to go for all the medals, even though 200 slingshot shots took forever, lol. I can't wait for the next games in the series, and I was ready and willing to play through the game more than once, especially now that I am Grimm Master and can experience the game a little differently (no spoilers here, go grab all 10 deaths.) Love the artwork, love the twisted take on the story, love the game mechanics, and above all, love the deaths (reminded me of Dragon's Lair; i.e. get to a new area and can't wait to die.) Phenomenal first effort and a triumph among games. One of my new favorite adventure games ever. Great job!

heh

fun game i love it its twisted like the real story

Great game! Kudos!

Great game. Animation is interesting. Feel is perfect. Gameplay is good (nothing new, nothing bad). Interesting twist on the fairy-tale. I have high hopes for the next two installments.

A few bugs I came across:
1. I never did in fact figure out myself how to take the stone guarded by the spider, nor did I check the walkthrough... and yet I completed the game 3 times so far! The first time, I hadn't taken the stone from the hornet's nest either!
There is a spot near the bottom right of the house-view where the stones magically appeared for me to take after what seems to be around 5 minutes of walking around without success in anything... The game seems to give up on me!!! and just lets me proceed. WTF?
2. Having taken the clock's hands before waking Hansel, and only then waking him, I find I do not have the clock's hands at all! Nor can I pick them up again for they are no longer there for me to pick up. If, on the other hand, I take both the clock and its hands before waking Hansel up, I do keep them both.
3. After retrieving the stone from the squirrel and releasing him from the trap, if I operate the trap again, whenever the trap is lifter the squirrel is seen escaping (when there is no squirrel there at all).
4. Maybe this is just my computer being slow and lagging but Gretel's movement seems to pause at the end of every walk-cycle, like she's limping on one of her legs.

Thanks for these bugs! We'll get fixing these right away.
