Reviews for "Typo-Negative"

Challenging, but not exactly in the best way.

Well, right off, the game is a solid typing game.
I'm a terrible typer, so it's really hard to play for me.
Nothing too special, but I did like the freeze powerup.
As said, terrible typer, so that helped a lot.

The problem is the word difficulty doesn't match the level.
I would be on level 1 or 2 and be typing words I've never seen before and occassionally questioned if they were even words.
Also, and maybe I'm mistaken here, but were some of those proper nouns?
If so, I don't think you should include proper nouns in a game like this.
Maybe you didn't and I was being tossed words on early levels that were so unfamiliar that they seemed like names of specific things and places.

Long story short, decent typing game with nice powerups, but needs an adjusted word difficulty as compared to the level.

maybe its just my computer but

When I got somewhere past level 20 and I hit 8022 points the next wave wouldnt start. Everything looked normal but no words would come down. Besides that I rather enjoyed it, some of the words were kinda ridiculous and in the later levels i couldnt read some of them cuz they'd be on top of eachother but still pretty good!

Not very good.

The word choice is ridiculous--you might as well just make random strings of characters. That the game randomly clears the word you're typing when you get hit makes it worthless for practicing. Honestly, I can't tell what you were trying to achieve with this "game."

Difficulty needs some scaling

It's a solid typing game. Fun and challenging and the regenerating shields keeps you from dying too quickly. While the game does a good job of scaling difficulty with increased speed, the same can't be said for word size and choice. I don't know about everyone else, but having to type several words I've never even heard of till they appear on the screen is a lot harder than typing ones I've seen before. So when I'm just starting and I get words like boscages, platinas, and stolons in the first level it feels a bit too difficult at times. The feeling only gets worse when they're coming at you fast later on and they're all very high end words.

In short great game, but could have done with a more standard vocab of words in my opinion.

Great!

This is a very unique take on Missile Command. It also reminds me of Typing of the Dead, ha ha. It's a good game, but for someone like me, who "hunts and pecks", it's VERY hard, but still fun! The graphics do the job well, but the music does get old quick. The controls, what can I say...? If you can't type, then how are you using the internet, ha ha ha! Good job, looking forward to more intersting games like this!
