short, simple, and to the point.
the animation was interesting, since its main feature was the fact that your art was a huge sprite, and others sprites served as background. i liked it. first of all, you need to be commended for making those sprites, even with a toll im sure they were a royal pain in the arse. animation in some places could have been better, but the fact that you were working with sprites must have made some difficulty. a unique style for a unique animation that deserves frontpage.
your sound on the other hand, was throwback retro for me. i recognized donkey kong and mario, where he jumps over barrels. i think thats where all the sounds were from and if so, hats off to you for keeping alive a classic. not dispute that it had a sprite sound quality, and due to the fact and nature of the animation, it fits perfectly. i didnt see any voice acting except when the main characters makes various grunts and groans, but it really doesnt matter.
what i have to say keeps it from a 10 is the length. you could have put more into the animation via length, such as showing how he got ready (brushing teeth, quick shower, maybe some pick-me-up meds) and instead you used the one thing i absolutely hate in animations. a black screen with words on it (IE meanwhile, an hour later, in another castle) but thats the only thing that i find wrong with the flash. the flash was enjoyable, fun to watch, and deserves frontpage.
