Crush the Castle: Players Pack is fundamentally the same as Crush the Castle. This serving as a sequel takes place afterwards and the resistances is still going strong. As such, the king as summoned you once again to elimenate the threat by simply destroying all castles with your mighty trebuchet.
Players Pack does not force you destroy castles one by one in a linear fashion like with the prequel. Instead you can choose which ever castle you want to start off with first, but you can't choose which country you want to start off with. This is really good, becasue if you were having a hard time with a certain castle you can simply go back to it later and destroy another castle. The castles here are also created by various of different players, and you to can create your own castle. But, unlike before you can share it with the public. There are also some medals, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. These medals determine how will you did, such as how many shots it took you to destroy the castle; the less you it took you to destroy the castle, the likely you will get a gold. If you haven't gotten a gold within all castles you destroyed you can simply revist certain castles and earn the gold medal. Once you earn all gold medals you recieve 3 super bombs (Not actual name, just what I call them). New to the series are the Newground medals, and there are a total of 12. I have earned all 12 Newground Medals and this is the first game that I have ever achieved that. The Newground Medals, as well as the ingame medals cetainley add some replay value. The gameplay has plenty of WOAH! moments. This moments indicates the the destruction of the castles were just so cool, they just make you go WOAH! The WOAH! moments also occur how cool someone was killed by your hands.
The graphics I feel are over used. I'm not saying there awful or anything, but these are same time of visuals I've seen with other games like Warfare 1917, Warefare 1944, Last Stand, Last Stand 2, Sin Mark, and so on. To me, all these games looks rather the same, and I kind of wish Con-Artists would improve their graphics a bit. The game suffers from some problems like lag. The game can get pretty laggy at times where you can control your trebuchet well enough. This is often due to how the castles have been made; when you create a castle you should keep in mind how much you put in. Because the more you have, the likely it will lag like hell.
The audio is pretty good though. the Theme song at the menu is pretty nice. The ingame sound effects are good, but I feel they could be better. The voice acting, which consists mainly screams of pain don't seem to be too forced, which is a good thing. There are also some other sounds like birds chirmping
GOOD - Non-linear gameplay. Can create and share castles with others. features ingame medals. Has Newground Medals. Plenty of WOAH! moments. Better than the first.
BAD - Overused graphics. A bit laggy.
