Cant wait for part two
I have got to say that the ending REALLY surprised me. Great twist. I love the hidden writing on the wall, I hope there are more in the next part, but I guess that might be hard to add in the story. Over all, great artwork, cool music, wonderful storyline so far, and lots of witty comments when you click things. Keep up the good work!
One question though:
What was the point of the spider? Were we supposed to do something with it..?

Things I liked:
+5 Stars for a well played and slowly unraveling mystery!
+3 Stars for excellent atmosphere! (Namely the music, the dimly lit background, and the "scratches on the magnetic tape" staticy overly)
+3 Stars for the funny comments when you click on things.
+3 Stars for easy controls and adding an instruction section to explain them.
Let's see... that adds up to 14 stars out of 10.
Areas that could use improvement:
Well, I had no problems myself, but some of the other commenters mentioned that they were getting stuck or had to resort to a walkthrough, so I guess you could add a hint-system.
Games for the future:
For the next game, I'd like to see alternate endings based on how many problems you try to solve in a violent/ pacifist/ avoiding manner or the types of items you examine. Yeah, I know that I'm bad at explaining things, so let me try to elaborate: Lets say that you spent a lot of time trying to kill the spider in this game. You could have an ending where the spider leads you into a trap. Or let's say you find a bottle of poison and you put it in your inventory -if you keep trying to use it on yourself then you could unlock an ending where you have the option of committing suicide. (You get the idea. Doing a behavior enough times = an appropriate ending )
