Needs mini games
I love the way that this game looks so simple, yet is so deep and effective - kind of like the mini game in Grand Theft Auto it's a very nice layout.
I think that it could do with an array of your own mini games - the people saying that they've lost things would be a nice fetch-and-carry mission, so that you can do something other than just run down clowns, mimes and robbers if you're bored of delivering pizza.
Perhaps give the player an option to get out of the car - when you run out of gas, it could be only a few steps from the gas station, so perhaps a quick run of fuel would only cause minimal damage to the pizza and you'd be able to get the job done that way.

There is a fetch-and-carry mission chain in the game now. There are items around the environment that can be picked up and delivered to those that lost them -- in return they usually give you an item that someone else is looking for.

Yes.
This game was plenty awesome without the pizza aspect. Easter eggs and side quests are the best parts.
It is one of my favorites everything is perfect, my only complaint is that the other cars can get a bit annoying :D
