Not Bad

Its a good game good upgrads, simple concept proressive which is good however when I got to wave 160 I started to wonder what the point was and by 168 I had gave not because its hard in anyway but because I was bored

ummmmmmmmm?

Is there an end? because i got to level 102 and i got bored and just killed myself. You should have a boss tank like every 20 levels or something because i was getting 4 exp for these little shitty tanks that come up every level, and it was taking forever to rank up. so yea.

needs work

the power up idea is pretty fun, though gaining xp is slow. The shield idea is great but make it less durable, and add more tread and tank mods. And put more of a story or money concept and maybe add a couple mini bosses and mega bosses here and there. Good concept needs work. Try to keep me interested.

at first real good...

At first I thought this game one of the best made, but it gets booring soon after. Why?

First I add that I concur with headhunters analysis. I just throw in some (additional?) pointers.

1) Upgrades for weapon, Chassis, Tracks and Shield drop too fast, so you get maxed out too soon and are almost invincible for long levels. (not only the shields as headhunter put it)

2) AI is too stupid. They should at least 'learn' to aim ahead, in later levels to make it more challenging. Other options would be for some tanks with good weapons, to try and stay 1/3 screen away from the player and move laterally, making them harder to hit (maybe even as fast as the player can go?).

3) Not sure if its a glitch or intended, but somewhere in Wave 200+ I got back to a wave with only 2 twin machine gun guys, and the rest without weapon trying to ram me...

Some ideas for an eventual Armored Corps II: Add another upgrade category with engine, responsible for speed, and have the wheels/tracks effect the traction, reducing kickback. Heavy armor should reduces speed as well. Shields need energy, so make them reduce speed as well? Rather than a cooldown for the shields have them recharge when not moving? Have a certain percentage of damage go through the shields anyway (depending on shield and weapon fired upon you), have shields vulnerable to certain weapon types (flamer? phosphor granades?) Another possible split: Armor and Chassis, add armor piercing weapon types.

Thanks for the efford, and, really, do something about the Comic Sansand happy colors.

nice but buggy

the game is realy nice, but realy bugged.
+good graphsics
+nice music
+cool weapons and other upgrades
+promotions
+upgrade points
+chainging background
-repeteive music
-the main menu is very boring for such game
-repetive enemies
-when you finish the game all u get is congratulations you won
-bugs
- the score keeps lovering, atlough at the end is corect
-you get stuck on corners (just begore lv 100 i got stuck in the upper line and reamined there until lv 170, but got suck again on lv 214 and reamined there until the end)
-sound is not very good too

my propositions for a seguel:
better menu
when finished you get a cool picture (dno maybe a soldier smokin on top of a tank while on the grounds there are countles tank parts)
fix the bugs
add better music and sound efects
