Best arrangment of Mario for a big band.
I'd have to say, you know what you're doing. Even if it is a layered keyboard, which I find perfectly acceptable... Escpecially when good big bands are hard to come across. I might only suggest one thing, and it isn't that big. The triple swung feel on the drums became monotanous after awhile. To get that real hip sound, throw some straight quater notes in there (a tip our jazz director tells our drummer every day...).
And for future reference to everyone, a big band usually consists of anywhere from three to five saxes, two to five trumpets, and zero to four trombones.

Well, this music's definitely Jazz...
But the big band thing may thrwo some people off...exactly where's the "big band" part of the song? It doesn't sound like more than ten people, three on the sax, one on the drums, a bass player, a pianist, and two or more on the trumpet...I dont' know, fi you say it's a big band then it's a big band. I like the song though, and there's nothing wrong with the music at all, so I think you did very well on this one...

How can you do something like that to the big band? Just degrade it with the use of some foolish keyboard. Come on! Big band is so great, and i really enjoyed your arrangement, very innovative. I bet any money it would sound better with a real big band. This is just so unidimensional. No dynamics, no real anything. Man, it's a nice though, but just ain't happening. Imagine how nice that sax soli would be with real saxes! There would be nice, big depth on the bari's countermelody, and those trumpets would be screamin'! Wow, if this is what the future of music is gonna be like, I was born about eighty years too late...

FUCK dude what do you want? Of course it would sound better with a real big band! I don't have one of those in my basement. What I do have is what I used. FYI, this keyboard i have is what many current songs on the radio today were produced with ENTIRELY. Except for the singing of course. Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway. Daniel Powter - Bad Day. I'm not saying that these are great songs or anything I'm just saying don't knock my hardware. Oh I loved your songs by the way.
