Epicness at its finest.
everything about this was great. and the whole thing that got me is that it was all hand drawn your real good man
Pretty good
Animation was pretty good actually and liked the story. I'm a hard core chrono trigger fan as I have been since I was maybe 4. The thing that bothered me was Magus was summoning Lavos so that he could destroy it at an earlier time. That and they didn't have epoch before magus' I believe. but none the less this was great. good job
Refreshing!
Movie = Awesome, you sure got it right as a true fan of the series!
Having not used sprites is a great leap from most animators. I do agree that maybe in the future do use some voice acting and that would def. bump your next CT up to the top 5 for the week! ( I believe so anyways)
Music = Great selection although so you know "CandySoup" stole that soundtrack from an japanese group and not long ago re-edited his profile to state he is Jap. instead of a kid from Iowa, so no credit should go to that kid.
(he is listed in the stolen-audio- forums as a fake)
Overall I think you have great talent here! Just try to not get to sloppy (lack of better term) with blurred close up fights where you cant tell what is going on, etc.
p.s. that supersayian bit was interesting as a choice but considering the orignial art was done by the same guy as DBZ I can see why you liked to go with that. haha/
Cheers!
No sprites!
I am surprised this only got Daily 5th Place, but at least it got a very high rating. I am not the biggest "Chrono Trigger" fan, but this is by far the best tribute I have ever seen to the series! I thought it was going to be a game at first with the ship and everything. All of these characters are awesome and even though I know little about them, I am really rooting for them. I could tell it was inspired by "Dragonball Z" (both this and CT itself). There is so much action going on with so many unique designs and I love the giant frog!
