Almost had my heart
Before i begin tearing into the negative let's think positive. At first i started thinking oh this game is just one more critter launcher game. I was right but it is a completely different experience from most out there it has loads of variety as well as plenty of references to Nintendo (which personally i could have gone without) But all in all it is a very solid game. The turtle's expression's of terror as he flies through the air the shop keeper's cold glare as he sells the turtle more weaponry in which to propel himself through the atmosphere.
The host of characters are very familiar from various Nintendo games and well placed. Each having a unique purpose my favorite being the angry ground creature. The overly dramatic music play surprisingly well with the game after a while the mute button was a fantastic thing to press. The music became tasteless and bland. After about the time i got the gold cannon which was about 45 minutes into game-play. I began to dread each launch the freindly host of characters dissipated and all i saw was an arrow that read 187 all the time. I barely ever saw my hard shelled friend. Just because you launch something longer and farther does not automatically mean awesome or better after awhile it just becomes lame and tedious. I found my self ending launches prematurely.
All in order to get back to the shop to buy more things that would make the dreaded flight longer after awhile my interest died down. I believe that is you games weak point it is really a lot of fun but without the characters there all i see are stars in the sky and a sniper in my hand.
