It's not perfect, the melody was too soft, and the bass was too hard, resulting in the bass being the melody and the melody being the bass (hope you know what I mean), try working on that, still, I like it alot and I'm giving you a 9/10.

Only thing keeping it from 10/10 is that some of the instrument volumes seem to compete with each other at certain parts. Needs some small tweaking. Otherwise fantastic!
Might want to mention that the beginning and end of the loop are styled after the "Metroid: Zero Mission" mix of the original song.
I love this piece
the kraid's hideout theme was very atmospheric even when you play the original. You did pretty well with it.
