Sluggish movement, lack of sounds, low difficulty
The lack of a amount of "total lives" makes it easy to win... in fact, you don't even have to dodge; the enemies (not even the boss) have bullets firing at you. The fact that your character is unbearably slow makes it less tolerable to play the game, and the lack of sounds is another crippling feature of this game.
On the other hand, the visuals and the concept involved were good enough. Take what you have here, and improve on it.

Okay this game is a really bad version of R-Type. Sorry but the truth shall set you free.

what's the point?
it was a pretty obvious rip-off of the good old classics.
But seeing as your flash
- lacked sound
- lacked speed upgrades
- lacked a boss that actually attacks you
- lacked more than one level
- lacked weapon upgrades
- lacked a proper collision detection that doesn't kill you before you're visually touching the wall
there's no reason whatsoever to actually play this. I'd rather fire up the emulator and play the original.
There's nothing wrong with re-creating classic video games, but you need to make sure you're adding some new value the original game didn't offer - different weapon, new leveldesigns, some new concepts.. just recreating the old game, but completely ignoring half the things that actually made the original game good results in a game that's unfortunately a lot of wasted work, but nothing anyone would want to play.

What is this? You call this a game? The gameplay sucked the boss sucked there was no and I mean NO challenge, there is no health bar for the boss so just keep doing the lame attacks till you die out of boredom. 1 for the graphics. 0/5.
