PAHAHAHA

I definitely put 'best guitarists evar....tits'
and now it makes me look even crazier

LMAO

The harmonizations are basic and failed to excite me. Dan Johansen's bending/shredding along with Kor-Rune's unique timbre were the highlights of the song. The other sections are unmemorable.

I'd give this a higher rating if it went beyond static harmony progressions and if the rhythm guitarist would play something more interesting than power chords.

I recommend learning a contemporary set of music theory, which would lead you guys to use dynamic chord progressions and modulations to create tension and release in the music, along with unique expression that isn't possible using just static harmony.

Additionally, a basic understanding of the mathematics of wave/frequency interaction would explain why the music theory works.

Quality of music writing aside, the playing was clean and the dynamics were present. Good job.

Hi bologna thanks for your review
Now how to start, and review on only my behalf

Well I made the backing track, so I'll start with that.

I understand what you are saying
But I also understand all that you talked about

I made this to keep it simple and let the solos remain clear. I am a layerer. I didn't use it here.
Selection sets that cause too much dissonance will force solos a certain direction.
Instead, I chose to give the crew freedom. Know what I mean?

Also....constant 3rds as harmony may have gotten old to some.
But even expanding past that, they never will to me.
It's classic 80's metal

Lastly, the solos are meant to be the forefront.
If I could have made a stronger backingtrack WITHOUT taking away from solos, then I apologize to you, and only you, directly.

Transitional statement
I would NOT take this piece as ANYBODY'S limit of musical experience

Glad you liked Dan and KorRune's solos!
Favoritism may vary though. I have heard everyone's name mentioned in singular already.

The only thing I can tell you about that, is we have been
playing for over a collective CENTURY
but we still had a BLAST making this for you

Glad you thought it was clean and dynamic as well

THANKS FOR YOUR REVIEW
Knowing what I know now, after having participated in this collab,
I might.....might....see if the backing track can get more complicated without taking from the front.
Thanks again
