Reviews for Sonic VS Shadow!

okay.

I will try to be as fair as possible here.

problems-
First, you need sound effects.
second, there is nothing to distinguish this from all the other hundreds of sonic vs shadow flashes here. Try to do something unique.
third, There should be no white backgrounds on the characters. I can't stand to see that.

good sides
First, I liked the song you picked out for this fight. It seemed to fit the fight well.
Second, I liked the fact there was some story, even if it was a little underdeveloped. Try to make a little more happen in the story.
third, i liked the chose a winner. I can tell you like sonic more, because you didn't give shadow his super form. Next time, try a few extra endings to give it an extra kick.
fourth, I did like how the background was destroyed alittle during the fight. You should have had a real background rather than a blue background.

So, try to improve a bit. I hope you get a little helpful advice out of this. This is the fairest I think I have ever been on something this overdone before. So, you should be feeling lucky.

For a clishe Sonic and Shadow movie, it's not bad.

But VERY average.

Other than that, it's alright. The ability to choose who would win at the end was kinda' neat, and the animation was pretty solid at points. So you get some points for that.

But do us (and the song author) a favor and LIST WHAT THE SONG WAS. Seriously, it's just rude to show no credit to the musician, and that's not cool in my opinion and in probably everyone's opinion, too.

Overall, pretty good, but practice your animation and set up a plot that won't make us as bored as a turtle with no legs.

the sprites look a little cut off and the music is kind of annoying. also when shadow wins, it looks a little bloody and when sonic wins, he just looks wierd...

Well, you improved.

As generic as your flashes are you are improving. Onto the review!

The sprite work is still choppy but I noticed a few more sprites and actions than your Mario and Luigi flash. Like some kicks, chaos powers, and spin dash attacks. Sonic and Shadow's sprites are a bit big too fit onto the background. Speaking fo the background, Instead of just cutting out parts of it, how about try making some sort of explosion or sound effect when it is destroyed?

Sound effects are still absent in your flash. And maybe instead of looping the same song over and over again you could add different tracks for each segment or another part of the battle. If you maybe added some sound effects for like explosions, contact from attacks, chaos powers, etc, the looping wouldn't seem as bad.

The Sonic series was never known for outstanding plot, even though the plot you made was generic. But, hey, it's one of your first flashes so I'll cut you some slack.

Overall, this is a below average, (but improvement) generic, brawl that offers some entertainment with choppy sprite work.

Try to get at least a score of 3.00 if you decide to make another flash. Keep improving and learn from your mistakes.
